What it is for

The Rehlko-Kohler-Lombardini injector fuel leak-off pipe kit with original code ED0035450970-S collects excess fuel from the common-rail injectors of the KDI 1903 TCR engine and conveys it into the return circuit.

The return system removes fuel not used by the injectors, supporting correct circuit operation and helping prevent leakage around the top of the engine. Hardened pipes, damaged connectors or worn seals may cause fuel seepage, diesel odours and air entering the circuit.

The updated kit contains the injector leak-off pipes and the associated metal T-shaped distributor. Part ED0035450970-S, short reference 3545097, supersedes previous configurations ED0035450900-S and ED0035450950-S.

KDI engines use different fuel-return assemblies depending on the number of cylinders and injection-system version. Part ED0035450970-S is specific to the KDI 1903 TCR and must not be confused with kit ED0035450980-S or kit ED0035451000-S used on the KDI 3404 TCR. Before ordering, check the OEM code, number of injectors, connectors and pipe arrangement.
