The genuine Rehlko Kohler Lombardini connecting rod bearing, original code ED0016401170-S and short reference 1640117, is a 0.25 mm undersize repair bearing shell designed for the connecting rod big end on the crankshaft. It is used when the crankshaft connecting-rod journal has been reground to the corresponding repair size, restoring the correct fit and operating clearance between the crankshaft journal and connecting rod. The part is documented on FOCS engines including LDW/KDW 502, LDW 602, LDW/KDW 702, LDW 903, LDW/KDW 1003, LDW 1204 and LDW/KDW 1404, including several marine versions. For selected applications, distributor documentation specifies use up to engine number 3535829.
